Timothé Kodjo Honkou

The atmospheric paintings of Timothé Kodjo Honkou awaken a longing to see Africa with their own eyes in the beholder.

In dark silhouettes in front of a bright background Honkou paints his personal portrait of the „golden continent“ with its people, animals and landscapes. Lovingly designed, colourful details complete his works.

The self-taught painter has already presented his artwork at exhibitions in Togo and Germany. They have also been successfully featured on calendars and paper products.

Honkou lives in Bavaria with his wife and two children.
