Franz Heigl

Born in 1937 in Bavaria. Studied in Dortmund to become a window dresser and then poster artist. Between 1975 and 1989 Franz Heigl worked as general manager in the fashion industry. He has worked as a freelance artist and graphic designer since 1989 and has owned an art gallery with an integrated studio since 1991. Heigl has had various exhibitions in Germany and abroad. His strength is the variety of colours and themes he displays. He masterfully transforms landscapes, still life and flowers into his very own unique style. The light brushstrokes and the variety of colours are characteristic of his images.
