World of Patterns Kathrin Strassek was born in 1965 in the German city of Braunschweig. She completed her studies in textile design at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hannover with great success. In 1991 she was awarded for her outstanding achievements as a student. The secret of Kathrin Strassek‘s success is her versatility: she not only knows how to create modern geometrical patterns, but a broad variety of styles. She interprets the latest trends individually. Her personal style is what makes her images special. The renowned and talented designer has already been working for many well-known companies, including Volkswagen, Siemens, Coca Cola, Paper+Design, Colourful Life, bsb-obpacher, Herlitz and Mattel.
